I've been trying to find the song from the Jeep "Award Season Sales Event" commercial for a while now. I finally found it!

It's called Renegades (how fitting) by X Ambassadors. Catchy song I think.

Jeep always has good songs in their commercials it seems.

I think they do for now, but this year is the last year and the Renegade is replacing both.

Patriot and Compass (same car, different sheetmetal on the outside) will continue into 2016, when a new c-segment Jeep will take over the gap between the Renegade and the Cherokee. Also, Cherokee will get a major overhaul in 2016.

Nope, they're going to put another model between the Renegade and Cherokee. Should be based off the same platform as the Renegade but larger, probably will be badged as a Compass.
